Connection Sessions

Human beings crave connection. We are at our best when we feel connected to other people, to God or a Higher Power, to the Earth, and to ourselves. Unfortunately, between the many demands we are trying to meet each day and the distractions that derail us from our intentions, we feel more disconnected than ever before. Many of us feel lost. We long to be seen and heard. We want to be valued for who we are. We wish we had a community, a tribe, or a sisterhood to hold us and lift us up when we need to be lifted.

The more we focus on meeting the demands of every day life and allow ourselves to remain distracted, the farther we move from the truth of who we are. We forget ourselves. We feel disconnected. And, the farther we move away from ourselves, the harder it is to make the connections we so deeply desire. Connection Sessions were created with the intention of helping you to reconnect to the power and wisdom you carry inside you.

Using healing tools like yoga, meditation, writing, and art, it is Anna's intention is to create a brave, safe space for you to reconnect with yourself and the world around you in a meaningful way.

All sessions are also available to small groups. 

This is an opportunity to connect with Anna as companions on this journey called life. She gives you her undivided attention. You share your story with her. She lovingly reflects it back to you with the intention of providing support, insight, or perspective – you tell her what you need.

This is not therapy, coaching, or mentoring, but rather a time to connect with someone with the ability to meet you where you are – with no judgment and no expectations. Anna can also provide perspective and/or support around grief, loss, motherhood, life partnership, creative endeavors, and other life celebrations and challenges.

This is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself on multiple levels, with Anna as your guide. You will share your intention and Anna will create a custom meditation and gentle yoga practice to help quiet your mind and tune into your body – the container for all the wisdom you carry.

You will then be invited to go even deeper with an art project and/or writing exercise (you choose), again designed to quiet your mind and help you reconnect with your inner goodness. It is recommended that you commit to at least three sessions.

This is a six-week session where we will delve into the exquisite Soul Restoration curriculum created by Melody Ross of Brave Girls Club. Anna was trained to teach this curriculum in April 2016 by Melody and her team, and can personally attest to its transformative power.

Some elements from the Mind Body Spirit Session may be incorporated before or after Soul Restoration.

Custom Yoga and Meditation

Inspired by your intention, Anna will create a custom meditation and gentle yoga practice for you. Please note, this will constitute a gentle, healing practice combining aspects of both Hatha and Yin Yoga. This is not for you if you are seeking help with a cardio yoga workout. You will practice together with Anna one time, and then you will be free to continue the practice on your own.

The word “tangle” refers to the patterns used in the art of Zentangle® which is a meditative art form created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Essentially, it involves making beautiful abstract art by repeating patterns. It is fun and easy to learn. As a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) Anna enjoys helping others develop a Zentangle practice.

Practicing Zentangle increases focus and creativity, can decrease stress and anxiety, and is enjoyed all over the world across a wide range of skill levels, interests, and ages. It doesn’t require a lot of materials and is so portable that you can hold your Zentangle tile in the palm of your hand. The possibilities are endless!

Tune in to Your Heart with Art

$55/one hour session

  • Price includes guidance and supplies (for in person sessions; you will provide the supplies for Skype sessions)
  • We will work on a simple Art Journaling or Mixed Media Art Project
  • Also available for small groups

Each of my offerings is inspired by experiences I have had personally and have witnessed as being powerful for others. I put a great deal of thought, time, and energy into creating space and experiences for the people with whom I work. I believe in the transformative and healing power of writing, art, yoga, and meditation and I am committed to sharing what I know.

I cannot, however, guarantee that anything I offer will change your life. I know you and you alone hold the power to change your life and while I am eager to walk alongside you, I aim to do so in a way that both honors and celebrates you and your own unique inner wisdom and personal power. I accept you exactly as you are. In our work together, I expect you to honor and celebrate your own wisdom and power as well.
